The 8-day procedure of Virechana ( one type of Panchakarma therapy) was quite easy in the beginning when I had to change my diet. It got more difficult with the ghee days, especially when the quantity of consumed ghee increased. I felt sick and restless but it was easier with some ginger tea. The last day of Virechana went better than I expected. I was a bit tired (mentally and physically) but I saw I was approaching the end of therapy, which helped a lot.
I had a very clear idea why I decided to do Virechana and I saw the results already during the process itself. My joints were no longer stiff, especially the most problematic joints of my right thumb and my index finger. Its mobility improved and I could use them without any problem.
My sleep has become more stable and deeper already in the first stage of treatment. Before start of Ayurveda, I woke up every few hours at the slightest sound or noise in the bedroom.
The eye pain, which occasionally radiated to my head, improved as well. Now it only appears in very stressful situations which is a big difference as compared to before.
The greatest improvement I have noticed is my digestion, which has become stable and regular.
I feel energetic and healthy in spite of a big weight loss of 7 kilos. I also feel more calm and in control of my emotions.
8-dnevni postopek Virechane se mi je zdel na začetku, ko sem morala spremeniti samo prehrano, kar lahek, se je pa zahtevnost stopnjevala z dnevi vse večje količine gheeja, ki sem ga morala popiti zjutraj na tešče. Bilo mi je slabo in bila sem zelo nemirna, pri čemer sem si pomagala z ingverjevim čajem.
Zadnji dan Virechane je potekal bolje, kot sem pričakovala. Bila sem sicer mentalno in fizično
utrujena, vendar sem videla, da se približujem koncu procesa in mi je bilo zato lažje.
Imela sem zelo jasno sliko o tem, zakaj sem se vključila v ta proces in rezultate sem videla že med
procesom samim. Moja sklepa na palcu in kazalcu desne roke nista bila več trda in lahko sem ju
normalno uporabljala.
Že v prvi fazi zdravljenja sem pričela spati globlje in bolj kvalitetno. Pred ajurvedskim zdravljenjem
sem se zbujala že ob najmanjšem šumu v sobi.
Bolečina v očesu, ki je sevala v glavo je izginila. Zdaj se pojavi le ob ekstremnih stresnih situacijah, kar
je velika razlika od prej.
Uredila se mi je tudi prebava, ki je zdaj redna, kar predstavlja največjo spremembo. Počutim se
zdravo in polno energije, kljub veliki izgubi teže. Sem tudi veliko bolj čustveno stabilna in umirjena
