Mojca G, Slovenia

I started with Ayurveda in March 2023 after the recommendation of my friend. She just told me to go as this is a holistic approach to health and might be good for me specifically for allergy, sensitive and dry skin and stress, that I just faced at my work. She also recommended to go to Lakshmi and I did it.
First it was really strange as me as west Europe culture and medicine, was not used to so many natural herbs and supplements and simple things, which should heal my problems. Also, the approach was very different, but I decided to fully embrace it and follow the guidance. It was not easy as I also travel a lot for business, however in the agreement with Lakshmi I took (and still taking) additional things in order not to get out of balance.
The first few months were more or less defined food, regular meals during the day with mandatory hot meals for breakfast and dinner and taking supplements with regular monthly check-ins. It was a kind of putting regular routine of morning yoga practice, breathing, eating and sleeping in place without too much stress and worries. As a sporty and active person, I had to shut down trainings on a daily basis and get more into Zen mode and trust that this is better for my body, mind and soul. After a few months I took Panchakarma treatment, which was a life changer for my allergies and skin problems. It improved significantly, however I didn't stop and decided to continue with the "Ayurveda" lifestyle as it proves to be very effective. I'm still regularly (on a quarterly basis) having consultations. And I go more often if I have any health issues so that they are addressed properly and on time.
After 1,5 year of continuous and constant practice I have to say that:

  • My digestion is perfect
  • my skin is not dry and that sensitive anymore and dark sports (I have them a lot) disappeared,
  • my allergies are practically gone ,
  • I feel better, much more energy and calm in the same time and
  • Yes, my body shape didn't deteriorate even if I don't practice that often anymore.

What I only recommend to all is, to keep the consistency, even if it is not 100% (in my case it is not due to the fact, That I'm traveling a lot), keep it 70 or 80....just keep going. Results are rewarding.
